Another Miracle

It seems that God operates in my life in one of two ways: very, very slowly, so that it seems I must wait forever and nothing is happening at all, OR, everything seems to happen all at once. This is one of the latter instances. On Friday, I decided I was going to be leaving my job. Saturday, I sent out my resume and inquiries. Monday, I had an interview set up. Thursday, I was offered a job. Within less than a week, my life suddenly changed, and I think for the better. I will be working at the Little Sisters of the Poor, incidentally right across the street from CUA, who run a home for the poor elderly. The difference between this place and the hospital that I just left, are like night and day. I will definitely miss the bedside nursing in the acute care setting. However, they happened to have just the position that I needed, which opens up just in time for them to train me and for school to start! God’s timing is always perfect. This job, I think, will also be much more conducive to my studies and the other things I would like to do in the area.

So, life is looking up, my energy is starting to return, the pounding in my head is starting to go away, and I look forward to my new adventures. Tomorrow, I head off to California for a couple of weeks. Upon my return, I shall begin my training with the Little Sisters. The end of August begins my studies, FINALLY, at the John Paul II Institute.

Thank you all, so very much for all the prayers and support you have offered on my behalf. I shall be eternally grateful.

  1. "God’s timing is always perfect." - Amen! I'm very happy to hear you've put things back together. That's amazingly fast, and it speaks to your own strength and resliency as well as God's providence.
