So this is my blog

So tomorrow, I begin a new phase of my life.  I will be leaving my little hometown of Ukiah in rural Northern California, by tiny car packed tighter than a tin of sardines, and heading towards the very opposite side of the US.  There I shall once again have roommates, I shall begin a new job, live in a city, and hopefully go back to school.

In the process of sending email updates and saying good bye, I realized just how many people I know both in California and scattered across the US.  Although I love and miss you all, it is impossible to write everyone individually.  So, instead of sending out regular emails to most of my address book, I figured it would be easier to start a blog. So here you are and you can periodically assure yourself that I really haven't fallen off the face of the earth.  I can't promise to post with any regularity, but only as much as time and interesting events permit.  But enjoy and feel free to email me and give me your updates!
